We’re Back: New Experience Book, New Blog Name and New Blog Design

It was a long time coming, but we are finally back in business with a new book, new name and new blog design.

Let’s start with the book: On October 29th we are releasing FEED: The 2008 Razorfish Consumer Experience Report.

The report contains The Razorfish 2008 Consumer Behavior Study, our own proprietary research on how consumers are adopting (or are not) Web 2.0 technologies and how it shapes their everyday lives. The second half of FEED builds on the study findings and looks at the trends shaping the digital and consumer landscape through a series of POVs authored by our design and planning teams.

If you’d like to get an advance look, please register here and we’ll send a digital copy your way prior to the official release date.

Next, you’ll notice that we are sporting a new — albeit slightly revised — name on our masthead: FEED: The Digital Design Blog. Given the forthcoming publication of the new book, the logic seems pretty obvious. But the other reason we’ve modified our blog name is that “FEED” is just more appropriate for the evolving distributed digital landscape where more and more consumers are accessing content wherever and whenever they choose, primarily via feeds and widgets.

Finally, we’ve also tweaked the design of our blog. There’s a new color palette, inspired by the book (natch), Plus, we’ve got a few new WordPress widgets on the docket for later this month and a couple of other goodies on the way soon.

Stay tuned.

FYI, your registration page says an email will be sent on “September 29″. Hope that’s October, not September of next year!
