Due to an outpouring of interest, we’ve resurrected the Digiboard IdeaLab project:

We launched this project last year at the Avenue A | Razorfish Client Summit in Las Vegas. Digiboard (short for “digital billboard”) was our attempt to create a community-based display mechanism for mobile digital pictures. Cleverly dubbed as “Twitter for photos”, the goal was to be able to have users submit photos to a physical display (e.g. Times Square billboard) or a desktop.
John-Alistair George (upper right in the photo below), who has lead every one of the IdeaLab projects for Avenue A | Razorfish on the West Coast, deserves the lion’s share of of praise for all of this as his technical know-how and tenacity brought every one of these projects to life. Without him none of this would have been possible.
Now I’m hoping that I can get him to write a post or two talking about his development philosophy.
